Theodore Hightower's Time Line
As I mentioned before, dad was born in Dunraven Ky. He was in Harlan area ,Ages fore at least 30 years before he married Mom. However, Dad was married once before to a Maude, unknown last name. They were not married very long.
Dad married Mom, Sadie Lorine Taylor on September 18, 1933 witnessed by Lee Hubbard and Anna Hightower. More on Anna Hightower later.
Mom was born in Briceville, Tennessee Anderson County on June 26, 1915, and died July 15, 1996 in Dearborn Heights, Wayne County Michigan . She was the daughter of Walter Taylor and Myrtle Flora Phillips. Our Grandma and Grandpa. Walter Taylor was born in Kentucky 1895. Myrtle Phillips was born in Tennessee August 8,1893 and died on August 16, 1978. She was the daughter of William H. Phillips and Sarah Elizabeth Hampton. Their home in 1920 was Pucketts Creek, Harlan County Kentucky. Walter and Myrtle had three children; Mack Henery, Marie and Lorine, our mother. Walter and Marie died of the fever around 1920-21ish.We don’t know anything else about Walter Taylor.
