Lawrence was born in Coal Creek, Tn. to Barstow or Barstil Hightower and Jessie Kesterson Hightower.. Barstow & Jessie Anderson County marriage says, B H Hightower And Jessie Kess April 9, 1898    and   Hesterson, Jessie Spouse : Hightower, B. H.
Marriage date : Oct 7, 1899

Well, I'm still at it..... I got a hold of a few more of Virgil Hightower's family.. Pat and her son James Wallace who live not more than 5 miles from me.. I'm very sad to say that Pat's husband Fred Wallace passed away a couple of years ago.

 Her sister Bernice O'Rourke, Bernice lives in Alabama. Their mother was Velma Hightower O'Rourke.

Hi Y'all,

Looks like Virgil Hightower reunion has been canceled for this year. Too much gas expense and motel stay. However, I do belive there will still be a Robert Hightower reunion this year as well. I will let everyone know by email....

And remember, if it looks like a Hightower and smells like a Hightower then poke it with a stick...... LOL......
